Robert Half is currently supporting a prestigious corporation with their search for an experienced, results-oriented Financial Accountant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements aligning with regulatory guidelines and accounting standards
- Participate in monthly, quarterly and year-end closing processes
- Provide accurate, timely analysis to identify, explain, and correct variances as compared to budgets
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure proper compliance with all regulations
- Assist with tax audits and tax returns as required
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting process
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field
- Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Financial Accountant
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and legislation
- Demonstrated analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in major accounting software
